Mic doesn't work - labymod proximity voice chat

Sometimes when I and others log into LabyMod and try to use the proximity chat (labyvc) it will tell us 'connecting your mic' or 'no mic connected' when our microphones are connected. It will also tell us the other person/people we are attempting to talk to don't have it active when they 100% do. The only way to fix either of these issues is to close LabyMod in full then restart it.
There are no steps to recreate it as it happens randomly.
Operating System: Windows 10
LabyMod Version: 4.1.11
Minecraft Version: 1.19.4
