Widgets screen broken (can't see the dog on the beach)

For some reason then clicking on the widget tab the background with the dog sitting on the beach doesn't show up and I'm unable to edit widget locations because I can't see them, all I see is the background wallpaper there

    The first link is I accidentally opened 1.20.2 and was unable to load into the game and the second one is 1.20.1 which has been split into multiple other links...

    If I remember correctly I think it does show normally then I'm ingame playing but doesn't in the main menu

    I just checked on 1.16.5 and I'm able to see the widget screen just fine, although I want to mention that the Minecraft live background doesn't work/disabled maybe this is why, or GUI scale? even though it's set to auto...
