Usually you can sprint diagonally by pressing A or D while normal sprinting. Somehow it doesn't work in Labymod for the 1.21.8 Version. Every time I sprint and press either of those buttons to walk diagonally, it just stops sprinting. I tried normal Minecraft 1.21.8 and it works without a problem.
I took two videos, both with ToogleSneak installed, one of them with toggle sprint disabled (vanilla sprint) and one with toggle sprint enabled. On the left you can see the Keystrokes, where it shows, when I sprint and when I press which button. Under the Keystrokes I have a widget of ToggleSneak enabled, which shows, if it's sprinting or not.

As you can see, in the first one I'm holding down the sprint button and it just stops sprinting when pressing A or D. In the second one I toggled the sprinting and it still stops sprinting when pressing A or D.
I tried uninstalling ToggleSneak to see if it's a problem with the addon but it still happens when ToggleSneak is not installed.
You can also not begin to sprint while holding W and A or W and D.
Interestingly you can indeed sprint while holding W, A and D all at the same time.
