Black screen when going to the "Player" section

[1.8.9] Havent been able to see my emotes in game, so when i decide to go to the "Player" section located under "LabyMod" the screen just goes black. I only get this thing when im using 1.8.9 but i noticed it doesnt happen with the newest version.
