Minecraft 1.8.9 has low FPS

When I use Minecraft 1.8.9 LabyMod 4 on my Apple Silicon / M1 MacBook Pro, I am getting lower FPS than when using LabyMod 3 or even Vanilla.

Operating System: macOS
LabyMod Version: 4.0.0+700 snapshot/5d88d89
Minecraft Version: 1.8.9
Installed Addons: Happens both with and without addons (including Flux and Optifine)

    I am also suffering from performance issues in the menus

    Hi! Unfortunately, we are unsure if this issue still persists. It would be really helpful if you could check if this still occurs in the latest LabyMod 4 Version (4.0.4)

    This issue has been fixed a long time ago and no longer persists
