    This idea was suggested many times and was declined** **everytime.

      1. LabyMod should be as near to vanilla as possible. LabyMod is meant as a pvp mod.
      1. LabyMod Users would have to download a lot of data when animated capes are introduced. Which would be annoying for users with bad connection.
      1. The LabyMod servers would need even more performance.
      1. Users would use p**n for their cloaks.
