This hasn't been implemented yet because using it in 1.8 against a vanilla player WILL give you an advantage.
I suggest a compromise:
You let us have this mod in the game, BUT it's only enabled on servers which support 1.7.
That way you don't have an advantage against 1.8 (Hypixel) players, but you can still connect to Lunar or MMC on 1.8 and be on the same playing field.
