2021-06-09 07:26:39The 1.17 version has just been released, let the team have some time. You can't develop such programming in 10 minutes, it takes time. Already many users ask for the 1.17 version for LabyMod. Slowly it is enough.

So i don´t think they will release it bevore the forge-beta has still ended. Did you still find any sigs that they are working on it?

2023-12-04 16:36:49Years later ... Hey we have version 1.20.x. This means that all versions below 1.19.4 are outdated, insecure and uninteresting for Minecraft fans. The fact that LabyMod is still tinkering around with the gray, ancient versions instead of finally keeping their clients up to date so that everyone who deposits their hard-earned money here can finally use it is just embarrassing. Except for cheaters or "legacy" users, no one uses the unsafe, dusty versions of 1.8 - 1.12/1.13/1.14-1.18 anymore! If I'm going to pay 1, 100, 500 euros for mods (which you can't use because LabyMod is still around in the Stone Age), then I also demand that after years of doing nothing, you NOW upgrade the client to at least version 1.19.x updated. I won't buy anything anymore as long as LabyMod plays around with 20 versions (under 1.19.x)!

The 1.8 version has the best PvP system for PvP modes for bedwars or whatever, Minecraft also supports all versions, in their launcher you can also select any version and not just play the latest one. LabyMod 1.8 is widely used and not without reason, I would even say that more people play 1.8 for PvP than with the 1.20 PvP. The 1.8 may be a few years old, yes, but it's also the last version that Notch worked on alone, I want to remember the good things with Minecraft, not the bad things that are currently happening, like not real mobvotes or constant texture changes or whatever.
