how long has this been on pause for? this thread has been open for 2 years with way too many duplicates, i understand something like this might take time to develop but it's a pretty big drawback to the friend system, especially given the fact that there is no warning that your friend requests can cap out. If this isn't a priority right now I hope that it could be addressed soon, because it's a really annoying thing to have to wait for open friend requests to expire, and I don't even get to see when they expire either.
