A "Custom Launcher" option when you are installing

    Btw, I know people have suggested similar, but [b]I am asking for it to be [i]optional[/i]. [/b]I know people who like the default minecraft launcher better. Furthermore, I also know people who think that having a custom-designed launcher looks intuitive.

    I forgot to add what I would want in this launcher.

    • Cape and cosmetic chooser
    • addon installer and uninstaller
    • list of LabyMod partner servers (with copy and pastes to their server ip)

    A launcher is very useless. The normal minecraft launcher is enough. And Badlion had a lot of bugs and problems with their own launcher and all the features are ingame or on the website available.

    @BayernMine_ I wouldn't say it's that useless? It provides convenience for players. If you saw above, my reply, those three features would be good to have handy. Want to join a LabyMod-partnered server? You can copy the link from the launcher. Want to uninstall addons that are causing crashes before you can open the client? Use the launcher. Want to switch out or choose different cosmetics that you have bought? You can use the client instead of having to go on the website, taking you a minute or two to just change your cape texture. There are definitely people who would want it.
    As I said, if this were to be added, it probably should be optional. "And Badlion had a lot of bugs and problems with their own launcher and all the features are ingame or on the website available." while they might have some bugs with their own launcher, it is not completely assumable that LabyMod will have a [b]lot[/b] of bugs with theirs. If bugs are a big problem, then making the external launcher optional is a good thing. Here's a thought, label it "Experimental"
    If this were to be implemented, obviously there will be quite a few people who will prefer the Minecraft launcher; but for those who want it can have it.

    @I_EPICSAURUS I think this won't be usefull because you allready got everything to edit In-Game and it will be stupid just to change your cape, that you have to restart your MC. So what I want to say is, that a launcher isn't that of an great idea because you allway have to close your MC and open it again, just to change your cape or something.

    @SERI0UZ I feel like it would be useful. For example, the addon installer and uninstaller. Right now, if you install Better Perspective for LabyMod and you have ReplayMod installed on forge, it will crash. Then you have to go into %appdata% and then your .minecraft folder and just a lot of... yeah. This would make uninstalling addons that are giving you crashes much easier.

Also, I'm not saying to take away the labymod website lol. You would still be able to change your cape with the website, but for people who want to change their cosmetics before they load the game, they could if this is implemented.

    yeah i agree that laby mod should have a launcher cus i change the version quite often between labymod and 1.16 and my controls always reset when i open labymod and its annoying to set it like i want.
