sword blocking on new versions

Description
when i have sword blocking enabled and i try to block with a shield in my offhand, but i dont use a sword to block. i just cant see the shield at all. it stops rendering. so let shield work and look normal to vanilla game but when the sword blocking option is enabled, only let it work with swords
