    Every tried 1.7? I bet you'd play better, at least that was the case for me. Especially for soup pvp, 1.8.9 made some small adjustments to stuff like movement which made the version worse than 1.7 for pvp

    Been playing Minecraft since the 1.4.7 version. Speaking from experience. I also don't like the new PvP system with shield and everything, the 1.7 and 1.8 is simple, but I think the 1.8 is a good upgrade from the 1.7 in terms of PvP, not everyone has to feel that way.

    I like this idea. There are still 1.7 servers around. Maybe add some quality of life changes to 1.7.10, like slim skin support.
