Normal items have a percentage durability when they shouldn't

    There's nothing wrong with that.
    The totem has no durability - Because it has no durability, 0% is displayed.
    100% would be wrong, because then it would mean that the durability can wear out.

    That would make no sense & would also be ugly.
    No percentage display at all would be like holding nothing in your hand at all.

    It looks ugly with the percentage and in LabyMod 3 there is also no percentage next to an block/item without a durability which looks 10 times better as having just 0% there

    Yea but if i have a sword in my hand i wanna know the durability of the sword and when i have a block i don't wanna know the durability so it just should show if the item does not have a durability...

    I understand your point. I think the 0% is nicer than no percentage at all. 
    Let's see what the devs have to say about it!
