Mod not working with jdk 8u261

The forge version of LabyMod does not work with Java 8 version 261, and requires a downgrade to 241. This may be a problem with mmc, but other mods work fine, it's just LabyMod.

    Heya!
    Please try using the official Minecraft Launcher as LabyMod does only support the original Minecraft Launcher which you can download from the Minecraft website.

    Also, I want to add that LabyMod works with jdk8u261 with the official Minecraft Launcher.

    I tested it and it works for me

    ok, thx, since 241 works fine with mmc, I'm going to stick with that, but thanks for the help. :)

    It's just somewhat of a hassle, as you have to download it from the oracle archives.

    Ok, just got alternative information, as the minecraft launcher installs its own java, so even if the jdk installed is 8u261, the java mc is using is not necessarily 8u261

    I did indeed set the Java Executable to the jdk8u261 in the Minecraft Launcher and it did not crash.

    ok, some more info, I am using mac os, which might affect it.

    I have been told that this is more likely a mac incompatibility than a MultiMC incompatibility.
