Advanced Tooltip causes client to crash

If you render an item which contains net.kyori.adventure.text.StorageNBTComponent it causes the client to crash

code involved:

   private fun tag(component: Component): Component {
        val key = Key.key("signature")
        return Component.storageNBT("signature", key).append(component)
    }
