1.8.9 Singleplayer worlds join, create and save lags

As soon as you click on "Create world", the animations are extremely laggy. There is also no indication that the world is being generated.
If you then want to save the world, the client freezes for 30 to 60 seconds (if the world has already been generated, it takes less time).
If you play a world that has already been created, the animations also become laggy.
